Attention ambitious mixed animal graduates: Do you enjoy wide open spaces? Do you want a safe community to live and raise a family? Do you want to be challenged daily with the diversity of mixed animal practice? Do you want to work with a group of fun, hard-working individuals? Look no further. Turtle Mountain Veterinary Service in Bottineau, ND is seeking a full-time associate veterinarian for our mixed animal practice. We are located in north central North Dakota in the beautiful Turtle Mountains, the four seasons playground of North Dakota! Recreation opportunities abound with hiking, fishing, boating, water sports, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing easily accessed. Bottineau is a small town with all the amenities. Our local economy is stable and agriculture driven. This is a safe community with a relatively lower cost of living. The community is progressive and supportive of small business. We are currently a one-doctor practice that could easily support 2-3 doctors. We have long term well-trained staff and well-established loyal clientele that allow for progressive medicine to be practiced. We are approximately 17% beef cow-calf, 76% small animal, 6% equine and 1% other species. We have a beautiful, spacious, well-designed 11,000 sq ft facility built new in 2016 that allows for the efficient and safe practice of veterinary medicine. We are equipped with technology and upgraded equipment including digital body and dental radiography, dental machine, ultrasound, Isoflurane anesthesia, power equine dentistry float, stationary hydraulic chute, portable hydraulic chute, IV fluid pumps and much more! The current practice owner is willing to mentor an associate with the goal of transferring practice ownership. The practice owner is very motivated to aid an associate in transitioning into a practice owner and has outside support already in place. There are potential investors willing to partner with a motivated veterinarian in addition to a supportive community economic development organization able to assist with low interest financing and other incentives. This is a unique opportunity to work in and potentially own a well-established turn-key practice in one of the most scenic parts of North Dakota. Visit us at turtlemountainvet.com.
