Description
Korea Institute for Curriculum and Evaluation (KICE) is a government-funded research institute established in 1998 to enhance the quality of school education in Korea. KICE contributes to the advancement of national education through research on primary and secondary school curricula and assessment, as well as the management of national-level tests, including the College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT). KICE invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Associate Research Fellow rank, with an expected start date of January 2026.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
KICE seeks highly qualified researchers with expertise in subject education, a well-defined research agenda, and a strong record of scholarly publications.

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Educational Level: A doctoral degree in a field relevant to the specific position.
Teaching Certificates:
Applicants for Mathematics Education and Technology Education must hold a full-time secondary school teaching certificate in the respective subject area.
Research Experience:
Applicants for General Education or Subject-Matter Education must have experience in AI-related research or projects. (e.g., artificial intelligence models, natural language processing, and automated scoring)
Preferred Experience:
Teaching experience at a secondary school is preferred for Technology Education.
A full-time secondary school teaching certificate is preferred for English Education.
Language Requirement: Proficiency in Korean is required to collaborate with Korean researchers and school teachers.
