We are representing a large, well-established Asian-based Asset Manager seeking a talented Associate to join their Private Equity team. This role focuses on Funds of Funds and is open to candidates with experience in overseas markets.

Your new role

• Update market investment opportunities, including fund calendars and peer comparison fund summaries.
• Review and analyze private equity investment opportunities, conduct funds due diligence, and develop and write investment recommendations.
• Conduct market research periodically (at least semi-annually) for circulation to relevant parties.
• Monitor existing fund investments and the financial performance of portfolio companies, including post-investment monitoring.
• Attend investor conferences and one-on-one meetings with external managers to gather insights and updates.

What you'll need to succeed

• 2-5 years of experience in private equity, with a focus on Funds of Funds.
• Hands-on experience from a family office or buyside is preferred.
• Coverage in direct investment, Funds of Funds, Sovereign Wealth Fund, private credit, or co-investment.
• Solid understanding and experience in funds due diligence and post-investment monitoring.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, both spoken and written.
