Engaged scholarship may be evidenced in the candidate's research, teaching, or service work. Engaged scholarship entails scholarly outputs that can be directly applied to social problems and issues faced by individuals, local communities, organizations, practitioners, and policymakers; its products will be considered alongside traditional, discovery-based research, engaged teaching, and/or service-oriented scholarly activities.
Service: Candidates are expected to provide service to the school, the university, the community, and/or the profession in support of the missions of the University, the College of Integrated Health Sciences, the School of Social Welfare, and the profession of social work writ large.
