- Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance
Description
Full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank starting in August 2026. All areas of interest will be considered. Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate and/or MBA levels.
Tennessee Technological University and the College of Business emphasize quality teaching and mentoring. The typical teaching load is 9 hours (3 classes) per semester. Instruction is provided in classroom, online, and hybrid learning environments. Research leading to high-quality refereed publications is required. Engagement with the business community and service to the university and the profession are expected.
Salary: Competitive with AACSB-accredited peer institutions and commensurate with qualifications, experience, and appointed rank.

Requirements
Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or DBA with a specialization in Finance or a closely related field from an AACSB-accredited college of business. ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will also be considered, but the degree must be conferred by 08/01/2026. Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching, research, and service to the university and profession.
Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience, including online/hybrid modalities. Professional experience and/or certifications.
