Department of Otorhinolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery
Assistant Professor

Applicants should (i) be promising or established scholars with a doctoral degree in speech and hearing sciences or related field; (ii) have demonstrated knowledge and engagement with the field of speech-language pathology; and (iii) have high-quality research outputs and a strong teaching track record in speech-language pathology.

The appointee will (a) teach postgraduate courses; (b) teach medical undergraduate students on speech-language pathology topics; (c) conduct independent and/or collaborative research project(s); (d) supervise postgraduate students; (e) provide clinical education; (f) provide training and professional advice to carers, parents and teachers on communication disorders in Hong Kong, Macau and/or Mainland China; and (g) assume major academic and administrative leadership roles.

Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to two years initially, commencing March 2026. Subject to performance and mutual agreement, it may lead to longer-term appointment or substantiation.
