Description
The Department of Communication at the University of San Diego is seeking a tenure-track faculty member at the rank of assistant professor with expertise and interest in organizational communication for the fall 2026 semester. Applicants should have a strong background in communication theory and the foundations of the discipline.

The ability to teach courses in our department’s new public relations minor is added value, but not required.
Qualified candidates will hold a PhD in communication or related fields. ABD candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Qualified candidates should also have university-level teaching experience and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. Candidates are expected to build and maintain a research agenda, participate in university service, and advise undergraduate students.
