Overview

Cedar Ridge Country Club is a private member-owned club located 15 miles from downtown Tulsa. The club was founded in 1967 and the golf course opened up in 1969. The original architect was Joe Finger and has been renovated by Tripp Davis. Cedar Ridge is known for its challenging but fair hole designs, and recently played host to the LIV Golf Tulsa tournament, won by Dustin Johnson. In addition to being one of the top ten courses in the state, the club offers a driving range, dedicated short game area, indoor Learning Center with Trackman Simulators, tennis courts, a pool, and a full-service gym. Cedar Ridge consists of approximately 450 golfing members, playing approximately 32,000 rounds annually.

Experience Required

Cedar Ridge is currently hiring for an Assistant Golf Professional. This position will work closely with the current Professional Staff to ensure the best possible golf experience for both members and guests. This candidate will be involved in every aspect of the daily golf operation.

• Prior experience at a private club preferred, but not required.
• PGA Member or Associate in good standing with the PGA or has aspiration to become a PGA Professional
• Working knowledge of Golf Genius tournament software and POS Systems.

The successful candidate will be able to take on and complete tasks in a timely matter. The candidate will also possess strong attention to detail, the ability to multi-task and to foster relationships with both the membership and staff.

Essential Responsibilities

Assist the current Professional Staff in every aspect of the golf operation including, but not limited to:

• Represent Cedar Ridge Country Club by providing exceptional hospitality to both members and their guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Tournament operations using Golf Genius tournament software.
• Processing special orders & managing demo golf clubs via Golf Genius Golf Shop.
• Inventory management and display creation.
• Provide instruction to the membership via both individual lessons and clinics.
• Promote and coordinate a successful and active junior golf program.
• Maintain a working knowledge of current golf products and club fitting technologies.
• Pace of play and golf course management via the tee sheet.
