Bent Creek Country Club, a premier private club in Lancaster County, is seeking an assertive and motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our turf management team.
About the Club
Bent Creek is home to the only Jay Morrish-designed championship golf course in the Northeast. In the past year, the club has invested significantly in course enhancements under the direction of noted architect Andrew Green , including:

• Drainage installation
• Irrigation replacement and upgrades to RainBird Cirrus Pro
• Bunker renovation with Capillary Flow bunker liner and ProAngle bunker sand
• Tee box rebuilding
• Strategic sod installation and turf establishment

These projects build upon Bent Creek's tradition of excellence and long-term commitment to exceptional playing conditions.
Position Overview
The Assistant Superintendent will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to manage daily operations and ensure the highest standards of course conditioning.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supervising and training staff on daily maintenance practices
• Managing irrigation, mowing, bunker care, and turf health programs
• Assisting with project planning and execution
• Monitoring course conditions and enforcing quality standards
• Promoting environmental stewardship and safe work practices

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in Turfgrass Management, Horticulture, or related field preferred
• Golf course maintenance or landscape management experience required
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
• Proactive, assertive, and detail-oriented approach
• Knowledge of irrigation systems and turf equipment operation
