Description
Job DescriptionThe Assistant Director for Scholar Support plays a vital role in supporting undergraduate student achievement through academic programming, personalized support, and strategic initiatives. This position is housed within the office of Scholar Support and is responsible for coaching, program development, and assessment.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution, preferably in student affairs/development, counseling, educational administration, educational psychology, or another closely related field.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, leadership, and presentation skills.
High initiative level and ability to work independently.
Ability to effectively collaborate with academic departments, staff, faculty, and administrators.
Experience mentoring and providing academic support.
Experience working with student organizations.
Maintain regular office hours during the week. Most hours should fall on Monday through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., though occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree.
Experience with Navigate preferred.
Overtime Status
Exempt: Not eligible for overtime
