Overview

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated LCSW or LMHC to join our growing behavioral health program. This provider will provide therapeutic interventions, counseling, and support to clients with diverse backgrounds facing a wide range of mental health challenges. The LMHC or LCSW is responsible for:

• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs
• Provide psychotherapy and counseling services to individuals, couples, families, and groups using evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team (primary care, psychiatrist, other team members) to ensure coordinated care and treatment continuity
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources, facilitating referrals to community sources and support services as needed
• Documenting in a timely and thorough manner

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish rapport with clients from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with care team
• Commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and professional integrity
• Strong communication skills
• Strong medical decision-making skills
• Displaying a caring and professional attitude at all times

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) or Mental Health Counseling (LMHC)

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, REGISTRATION:

• Current, valid Florida LCSW or LMHC license
• BLS
