Advanced Heart Failure Cardiologist – Pittsburgh, PA
The Allegheny Health Network (AHN), Cardiovascular Institute is recruiting a full time Advanced Heart Failure cardiologist to join the Advanced Heart Failure/ Pulmonary Hypertension team at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. The Cardiovascular Institute at AHN includes a comprehensive panel of physicians, including multiple cardiology service lines (heart failure, electrophysiology, general cardiology, interventional cardiology and imaging), cardiothoracic and vascular surgery as well as cardiac critical care.
Highlights:
- 7 Board Certified Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiologists, 5 APP’s and 3 Full Time Cardiothoracic Transplant Surgeons.
- Treatment of Advanced Heart Failure, Pulmonary Hypertension, Shock, Transplant and VAD
- Management of temporary and durable mechanical circulatory support as well as cardiac transplantation
- Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure Fellowship Programs
- Academic appointment to Drexel University will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank.
Qualifications:
- Completion of ACGME approved Cardiovascular/Heart Failure Fellowship
- American Board Eligible/Board Certified in Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO)
- Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania prior to employment
