Job Summary
Perform general accounting functions in order to support and maintain an effective accounting programJob Description
Key Roles & Responsibilities Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent will:
Perform high-volume, routine transactions with efficiency and adherence to defined workflows.
Ensure data entry is accurate, complete, and aligned with standard operating procedures.
Assist with gathering, validating, and processing financial information to support operational needs.
Respond to inquiries and resolves basic discrepancies by following established guidelines.
Support process integrity and compliance by adhering to required controls and documentation standards.
Escalate complex or unusual issues to appropriate personnel for resolution.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred
Experience:
2-4 years in Accounting or other Finance field
Experience preferred in the Energy industry, but not required
Skills:
Demonstrates accuracy and efficiency in financial data entry, validation, and processing.
Understands fundamental accounting and financial principles related to transactional processing.
Proficient in using financial systems, ERP software, and data management tools.
Identifies transactional discrepancies and escalates issues appropriately for resolution.
